BankPlus International Gumbo Festival

Gumbo Festival

On November 9th, 2019, the BankPlus International Gumbo Festival returns to Smith Park in Downtown Jackson. The event will include a gumbo cook-off, blind judging to name the “International Gumbo Festival Champion," and fantastic live music throughout the day.

This event is presented in part by Visit Mississippi!

Featuring music by: Fruition, Arkansauce., & Hood Baby and the Barnacles

Tickets: $10 in advance or save yourself some cash with the 'Four Pack' for $30.

Tickets will increase to $15 at the gate. Children 10 and under receive free admission!

About the Festival:

On November 9, 2019, the BankPlus International Gumbo Festival returns to Downtown Jackson. The event will include a gumbo cook-off, blind judging to name the "International Gumbo Festival Champion," and fantastic live music throughout the day. The International Gumbo Festival was established in 1992. The festival moved its home to Smith Park in 1995 and remained there until 2003. It returned in 2013 and will remain at Smith Park, the family-friendly green space in the heart of Jackson. Benefiting the Harold T. and Hal White Memorial Scholarship Fund
