Gov. Reeves said today he's told state agencies to prepare plans to reopen. At his daily coronavirus briefing, Reeves made the comment in response to a question about commercial fishermen having difficulty getting licenses for the opening of shrimp season this week. The governor said the state is over halfway to its goal of testing residents and staff at all long term care facilities. State Health Officer Dr. Thomas Dobbs said today that a contagious patient somewhere in Mississippi went to a funeral and exposed a number of people to the virus. Dobbs said they don't want a funeral "to lead to other funerals".
