Larger Gatherings To Be Allowed In Mississippi Next Week

Gov. Reeves says his Safer At Home order is being replaced by a Safe Return order next week, allowing outdoor gatherings of up to 100 people. Reeves says groups of that size-- for example, a crowd watching a baseball game-- will be permitted only if social distancing guidelines can be met. If not, outdoor gatherings will be limited to 50 people. For indoor gatherings, the limits are 50 people with social distancing and 20 without. As the new order takes effect Monday at 8 am, all businesses in Mississippi will be allowed to open, subject to social distancing and sanitation guidelines.
