  • As the Black community is taking a day to support black businesses for “Blackout Day” on Tuesday (July 7) restaurants in Atlanta are struggling to come back from the almost instant disappearance of business due to the coronavirus pandemic.
  • Several Atlanta restaurants tried to offer curbside, takeout, and make modifications to their menu in order to sustain as shelter-in-place orders rolled out but it wasn’t enough to keep doors open and employees working.
