Thanksgiving is just around the corner and our friends at Stewpot Community Services will be distributing food baskets to 500-600 metro area families this year who are in need of assistance.
Each year, we team up with Stewpot and ask you, our wonderful listeners, to come out and donate to make the season of Thanksgiving a special time for families that are going through a difficult time right now. And each year, y'all come through.
Please come by the Kroger in Madison off Colony Crossing in between 6am and 6pm Friday, November 15th and make a donation. If you would prefer to shop for items inside, we'll have volunteers handing our shopping lists so you'll know the items we need. If you have nonperishable food items that you would like to donate, just drop them off at our tent that will be set up by the entrance door at Kroger in Madison off Colony Crossing. If you don't have time to shop inside, you can always make a monetary donation. $30 is the amount needed for one food basket for a family.
If you don't have time to come by, you can always log online and make a monetary donation. Just click HERE to make a secure donation on Stewpot's website.
Thank you so much for your continued support!
