Spooky season is officially here, and what better way to countdown the days until Halloween than with a horror podcast musical? Halloween In Hell stars Tommy Lee as the devil and features original music and performances from Machine Gun Kelly, 24kgoldn, iann dior, Dana Dentata, and phem.
"On Halloween, Satan lures three performers to his sadistic game show in Hell where they must perform or die," the description reads. "The winner returns to Earth. The losers will play out their showbiz careers in fiery hellfire and damnation."
The four-part podcast was conceived by Audio Up Media CEO Jared Gutstadt and MGK and draws inspiration from classics like Rocky Horror Picture Show and The Nightmare Before Christmas.
"MGK and I have been friends since he came up," Lee explained about his involvement. "We had such a blast making The Dirt that it was only a matter of time before we got to work together again. So when he calls me and says 'I’m doing this series and I’ve got the perfect role for you… SATAN,' I’m IN! Add 24kgoldn to the mix and it’s on!"
“Jared came with the whole vision and script, i just lent my voice," MGK added. "It’s sick to hear a podcast with sound design and a score/soundtrack like it’s a movie, and i like that the writer had the other characters (who are also my homies in real life) crack jokes on me whenever they could in the episodes.”
