T.I. is getting back to the basics with his first solo record in five years.

On Sunday, January 18, the Grand Hustle CEO dropped his new single "Let Em Know" produced by Pharrell Williams. The hard-hitting single has Tip reminding multiple generations that he's still the Kang of the South. Tip and Pharrell recorded the track while on a yacht as they cruised along the coast of Miami. In a photo of their recording session, you can see the Atlanta native actively listening to the track with his son, King Harris, by his side and Skateboard P in the background.

Before the song dropped, T.I. teased it in a stunning preview he posted to social media. In the clip, Tip sits in a barber's chair and cuts off his infamous dreadlocks. It ends with a snippet of the song's intro and a glimpse of Tip with his signature fade.

"He’s Baaaaaaack!!!!!!" Tip wrote in the caption.

"Let Em Know" is expected to appear on T.I.'s final album, Kill The King. It's the first solo record Tip has shared since he shared "What It Came To" in 2021. Since then, the artist, comedian and actor has collaborated with a slew of artists, including his good friend Young Dro, Jay Burna, YoungBoy Never Broke Again and Lecrae. Tip, Lecrae and Killer Mike were recently nominated for Best Contemporary Christian Music Performance/Song ahead of the 2026 Grammy Awards.
