Late last week, social media was shocked to learn that gospel singer Kelly Price was reportedly missing. And the updates that have rolled out since have only created more confusion.
TMZ reports that Kelly was first listed as a missing person a week ago after a welfare check conducted at her home. Authorities say they visited the residence and spoke to her boyfriend, but found no signs of foul play. According to Price’s family, she was hospitalized in early August for COVID. They believe she was discharged early, since she had not fully recovered at the time of her release -- and haven’t heard from her since. And then there’s the fiancé, who is reportedly keeping friends and family from visiting the home.
A lawyer for the 48-year-old says she is safe and recovering from COVID-19 at an undisclosed location. The Sun says that though Price was missing, she has now “been confirmed safe” by law enforcement.
